PROJECT: CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) Sleep Respirator Device / Tranquility® Quest
Description
Sleep Apnea CPAP Device. Working with Respironic’s engineering, manufacturing and marketing groups, WhiteLight Design developed this sleep apnea device for personal night time use. Connected to a nasal mask, it is used to reduce snoring and sleep interruption. The functional constraints of incorporating a handle, hose connection, inlet filter, air ducting and noise reduction baffling into a two piece, injection molded housing, challenged us in developing this solution. With the new Tranquility Quest ® design, the Client experienced a significant increase in CPAP sales, representing a major portion of their company CPAP sales volume.
