Infusion Syringe Pump, this is one of WhiteLight Design’s most successful medical products, used in neonatal recovery using 3D CAD. The program involved working with both of the Client’s engineering and marketing team. It included competitive product research, base mechanical layout, concept sketching (styling), following thru full scale foam mock-up modeling and color renderings, ultimately developing a final ProE® / CREO 3D CAD virtual model. Details such as the syringe head pump carriage clamp and user control panel graphics were explored with many proposed versions in between.

The semantics of the design involved form development to complement the highly intelligent mechanical/electrical syringe manufacturer and size detection system, rapid occlusion detection, post occlusion, bolus reduction and Patient Data Management, all compressed into a very compact package. WhiteLight Design infused a special energy to this critical syringe pump medical product development program.
