Its length, breadth, and height are equal.” Rev 21:16. “And the name of the city from that time on will be: the Lord is there,” or YHWH-shammah (הָּמָׁש הָוהְי) or (YHWH [is] there) Ezekiel 48:30-35
The glimpses we have of Heaven, New Jerusalem, and the Holy Mountain come primarily from artistic etchings and paintings over the centuries, and from the Bible. Rev 4:7-8, 5:11, 20:11, 7:9-1 The size and scale of the city is described in the Bible as a perfect symmetrical 4 walled cube approximately 12,000 furlongs or 2220 km or 1380 miles in length, width, and height. The foundation compared to earth is approximately two thirds the land size of the United States. The 4 walls are 80 yards or 73 meters or 240 feet thick. Revelation 21:15-16.
The 4 walled square foundation includes 12 giant Pearl Gate entrances, 3 per side with the Tribes of Israel written on them, and 12 Angels Rev 21:12
The foundation walls include 12 symbolic foundations made of every kind of precious stone, and the 12 APOSTLES of JESUS written on them, Rev 22:19, 21:14.
Consider many artistic assumptions are made and that even scholars do not know the exact length of a cubit or stadia. Conjectures are based on accepted unit measurement conversions. We do not know what the named gemstones colors appear as. Assumptions are based on modern gemology, including Jasper being described as appearing like crystal diamond, Sardonyx or Ruby is brilliant red, and Emerald is vibrant green. Jasper translated in scripture, Rev 21:11 “was most precious,” and “like crystal”, Rev 4:3. We consider Diamond is the modern Jasper or precious stone known for clear as glass brilliance and the reflection of transparent light. Or consider gold that is described “as pure as glass”, Rev 21:18. Or before the throne is a “sea of glass, as clear as crystal.”, Rev 4:6.
