To start with, most of our industry-proven programs must be run on high-end computer hardware systems. WhiteLight Design has invested in IBM and DELL as our primary computer hardware supplier, running the latest Processors and Graphic Accelerators.
ProEngineer® or ProE Wildfire or CREO release 4.0 (3D/CAD –CAE modeling program)
Pro/ENGINEER (referred to as ProE) by Parametric Technology Corporation Needham, MA (www.ptc.com), is a globally accepted standard in the CAD industry. It is a 3D parametric feature solid modeling software with outputs consisting of solid volume model data.
SolidWorks® (3D/CAD –CAE modeling)
SolidWorks is another standard in the CAD industry, available from a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, S. A. (Suresnes, France). It employs a similar parametric, feature-based approach to creating models and assemblies. It comes with several modules including a CAE – FEA design validation and optimization software .
FormZ® (3D Photorealistic Color Renderings)
Form-Z is a general purpose 3D modeling application, published by Auto-Des-Sys. It features advanced surface and solid modeling capabilities, including support for NURBS, metaballs, and subdivision surfaces. It includes a basic preview renderer, but supports many external rendering software. Form-Z RenderZone is a version that includes flat ground shading, phong shading, z-buffering, and raytracing rendering methods.
Rhinoceros® or Rhino (3D Photorealistic Color Renderings)
Rhinoceros® or Rhino is NURBS-based modeling tool, by Robert McNeel & Associates commonly used for Industrial Design, Architecture, Jewelry design, Automotive Design,and Graphic Design industries. Rhino3D specializes in free-form NURBS complex surface modeling. Rhino 3D can create shaded, working views, perspective working views, coordinate read-out, named views, and a pethora of other features to aide in the communication of a design.
Adobe® Creative Suite: Photoshop®, Illustrator®, InDesign®, Acrobat®
The Adobe Creative Suite is a family of graphic software tools that are a staple of the profession for graphic applications. 3D CAD programs model images and drawings can be imported into these programs to create digital presentations, business plans and graphic communication art. The Adobe® products, including Photoshop®, Illustrator® and InDesign® , facilitate the creation, automation, management, and control of information across the entire product development and manufacturing system. The Adobe software creates files that are readable by almost everyone.
