Henryetta, Oklahoma.
American professional rodeo cowboy and rancher.

Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.  At the time of his death, one of the most successful contestants in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), 16 World Championships, known as the ‘Babe Ruth of rodeo. 1943, won 1st bull riding competition in Oilton, Oklahoma, age 14, earned $18 rode till age 42. Purchased at age 3 the famous bucking “weather” bull, Tornado, throwing 200 riders over 14 years. Shoulders also contributed to the design of Wrangler Jeans 13MWZ ‘cowboy cut’ jeans and made promotional advertisements for products such as Ford, Dodge, Miller Lite beer and Justin Boots. A ProRodeo stock contractor, Started 1st rodeo training school and invented the mechanical bucking machine. Giddy Up !!!…. w2

1949, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959 World All-Around Champion Cowboy Championships
1951,1954 to 1959 World Bull Rider Championships.
1950, 1956 to 1958 World Bareback Bronc Rider Championships.
1959 – 16 world championships – 3rd place all time with 16 titles.
1st to win all 3 events (bareback bronc, bull riding and all-round) at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR)
