Non-Nuclear Gauge for Compaction Quality Control in Earthworks

WhiteLight Design working with the Durham Geo Engineering team, the product was a thermoforming winner.  The product is a non-nuclear gauge for determining in-situ (water) moisture content and density in soil, by the TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) method (ASTM D6780-02*) for earthworks quality control. Resulted in a case enclosure featuring a battery powered CPU, easy access handle and quick disconnect shelf for storage of the stainless steel disk gage ,the metal pin alignment bracket and 4-10″ ground pins & metal scrapper storage.  The solution was geometrically solid industrial design resulting in a sturdy, construction grade enclosure incorporating ground breaking geoscience.
