Connecting with the Customer
The Big Gulp (R) Bottle design was about connecting with the customer the historical 7-Eleven (R) brand on a personal grip and feel level. Aiming for that moment that the customer make the new link to a bottles bumps and picks up the package. The product bottle design and package serve the hot and cold fill production requirement. The purpose and put the User in a place of feeling good about the product or refreshment purpose it serves. The package protection insured quality delivery and the retail convenience market as a new functional information billboard. Branding or packaging bottle design is the launching point for creating the vision of product interest and sales. The semantics of form follows function large grip bumps dominated the physical package, as well as the merchandizing grouping, to deliver and communicate one cohesive message. Packaging design must compliment the design, form and appearance of the corporate identity and product.
