COLD PLUNGE SHOWERHEAD
WhiteLight Design worked with Cold Plunge’s owner to bring the health benefits of home hot and cold water therapy into your own showerhead. Cold therapy known as hydrotherapy or cryotherapy, involves exposing the body to cold or chilled water temperatures for therapeutic purposes. Brief Cold Water around 40-50°F (5-10°C) is known to treat health conditions or athletic recovery and stimulate health benefits.
Cold Plunge Dual HOT – COLD Shower System
Working with a basic prototype we explored several product configurations followed by 3D CAD modeling and color renderings to create the final functional printed plastic prototype, to work out the features. The project moved from prototype to production injection molding with a local molder, including tooling very quickly – 6 weeks Design + 4 weeks Prototype – 8 Weeks (Local) Tooling – Manufacturing.
Cold Therapy can help cool you down after exercise, reduce muscle soreness and support your immune system and metabolism and emotional health. Talk to your doctor first, make sure your cold water plunge is brief, maximum 1-2 minutes. Product is NOT a medical device. Users assume all risks including injury, slipping, falling, or loss of consciousness due to temperature exposure. Use responsibly.
EASY INSTALL: Will retrofit most standard shower head fixtures.
