Each year we create, illustrate and write a custom holiday card to give thanks to all who support us past, present and future. We are very grateful for the opportunity to serve and hope you enjoy our festive and creative annual Holiday Lights.
Here we are team mates inside of the paddock, walking along without a weight to pull. We really don’t mind the work though, because it brings joy to many people. There are sad ones and glad ones, eagerly laughing or even some a little bit scared as they first climb into our sleigh. We hear them speaking and notice a lot. We are very good listeners, but we never reveal their secrets. Everyone feels better after a sleigh ride.
We are steady and stable just like the stable we live in as our driver guides us down the snow covered path. His hands are firm yet gentle on our reins, and we are groomed and well shod so we never stumble. All is well. Soon the people are enjoying the views and the cool crisp air. Snuggled in blankets for extra warmth, they soak in the moonlight and glistening stars. Some know carols and begin singing along with our jingle bells ringing.
At this Glorious time of year it is especially good to be team mates. We know the work we have done is truly of worth to others. In our stalls are fresh clean hay, water, oats and carrot treats. We are so very grateful that all has been provided within the Stable Light.
