The holiday season brings a multitude of expectations. Sourcing, procurement and production are a little challenged this year, and demands are soaring higher than ever. Santa and Mrs. Claus along with their wonderful team of Elves and Reindeer at North Pole Industries have these matters well in control. However, mother nature is not cooperating very well this year. The fog is especially dark and dense tonight, and the live streaming Weather Channel predicts no improvement in time for Santa’s launch on Christmas Eve.
We are extremely lucky because we have completed and in place the new “FOG” system (Focal Opalescence Guidance System). This amazing invention incorporates laser strobe towers combined with a series of intermittent cool green LED lighting along the launch pad. It has a record setting depth penetration and maximum visibility into the deepest foggy recesses. RFID and Doppler(R) radar are fully engaged and linked in to the North Pole Industries transport vehicles, and most importantly Santa’s sleigh.
Santa is inside at the control panel as Rudolph is out monitoring the conditions, checking all the signals and verifying operational status. There’s a lot on the line with toys to deliver, stockings to fill, wishes to grant and hearts to heal. But this year Rudolph has help, as Rudolph Junior has learned well, doing an excellent job as Apprentice First Class. Little Rudolph III is also a fine protégé with great potential, but at his young age, Little Rudolph just wants to hurry get done and back to his new hot cocoa dispenser.
There comes a little fog now and then in everyone’s life, and it is wise to consult your map or finely tuned GPS before charting your course. But taking too much time in deliberating and preparation could allow your grandest dreams to slip away. The fog will lift eventually. It only temporarily obscures vision and perspective. The light is continually shining above the clouds and always visible somewhere in the world.
Taking our inspiration from Santa and Rudolph and all the team at North Pole Industries, we invite you to remember with us that when the fog moves in, just turn to the True Light of the Season!
