The department program formed in1968 offers a Bachelor of Science (BSID), a Master of Science in Industrial Design (MSID) degree programs in: Industrial Design, Interior Design, and Visual Communication Design. In 2009 U.S. News ranked the OSU ID graduate program #6 nationally by a DesignIntelligence (DI) survey; undergraduate program ranked #10, and #3 in a survey of Art and Design school Deans. The GT College of Architecture offers a Bachelor of Science (BSID), a Master of Industrial Design (MID) and PhD in Design with concentration in Industrial Design.
