History of WD
WhiteLight Design was formed in 1992 by Mr. Willis Whiteside, B.S., M.S. Industrial Design, as a professional industrial design – new product engineering development and rapid prototyping firm in Norcross, Georgia. The business was launched with a spirit of wanting to be under the spot light and bring new and better product design to the market. The goal was to specialize in assisting Clients in creating and developing business success and profitability through a proven system of product development services. The mission is to work closely with Clients to position new design and products, whether it be technology or customer-driven and connect you to the right manufacturer, to deliver product to market, on time.
We have formed a team of highly qualified Designers, Engineers, Prototypers, Molders and Manufacturers who have worked together for over 18 years and delivered hundreds of product designs and prototypes. Intelligent business ventures and the necessary capital expenditures require that all businesses, large, medium or small use intelligent industrial design and experienced product engineering as a strategic tool for delivering the most successful business design solutions and profits.
